Trained under many TCM practitioners, currently practicing Tui Na (Chinese meridian bodywork) at Qi Flow. Tui Na has a variety from gentle to percussive techniques to “push and pull” that can invigorate qi and move blood stagnation of the body so your channels can flow freely and function appropriately. Tui Na differs from to other manual therapies as the pressure applied intends to work along the meridians and focuses on some indicated acupuncture points.
Esther intends to introduce TCM modalities as an approachable service to integrate into your on-going treatment plan to best support your body and mind feel at ease and boost your ability to rest well.
Esther offers a range of services, including Tui Na, Moxibustion, Auriculotherapy, Traditional Fire-cupping or Gua Sha to complement your treatment session. Her practice is centered on empowering patients to find autonomy in managing their health through treatment plans and collaboratively referring to alternative care options, within the constraints of the modern medical system. She is dedicated to exploring ancestral wisdom and energetic medicine that has maintained evidence-based efficacy and that has evolved to be integrated alongside modern wellness spaces.
Esther values the importance of preventative healthcare. Yang Sheng (Nurturing life) is a concept rooted in a TCM principle in the formation and maintance of daily rituals to return back to balance and prevent disharmony. Such as navigating work-life-play balance, recovering from burnout, lifestyle transitions and seasonal changes. This may translate as a discussion on habits and lifestyle advice, food energetics, movement, your body constitution and how to achieve realignment with yourself.
We wish to strengthen your Wei Qi (defensive immune response) to support your body’s ability to bounce back during or after any unplanned illness or injuries.
She honours its roots as an ancient medical system and her early exposure to traditional Vietnamese healing practices. She continues to further expand her knowledge in traditional herbal medicine within the limitations of the accessible natural health educators in Australia.
